Hey did you hear...
Hey, did you hear about the Christian aid workers who were cleaning out a hurricane-damaged house in New Orleans when they stumbled across $30K in cash?
Guess what, it's true. And to make it even better, I know them. Yes, yes I know them. And it's rather cool that God has been glorified in their interviews with the media. But what spoke to me the most about this whole story is how humble these girls are. God has chosen to use them in miraculous ways because of their humble hearts that are ready to serve Him. This really got my attention today, and I was thinking on the fact that I could have been there with them because I almost went on this trip. Then suddenly God showed up. "No, you could not have been there. I could not have used you because you do not have a humble heart. Your heart is full of pride, and you have begun to try to do it all on your own. Remember my child, you have nothing in your own power, it is all through ME."
Forgive me, Father. Keep me humble so that I may do your will, indeed, anything good that I may have in me is not of me at all, but rather all is from you, the Father of Lights, giver of every good and perfect thing.

Carmen you are just so amazing! I love your new entry or whatever you call it. =) So who were they? I heard that a few girls from Savannah did the wonderful deed, but I didn't hear any names on the radio! Do I know them? =) I hope you have a super-duper-dee-duper-ly time on your trip! Translation of Sarah's silly word...wonderful! ~Sarah
