It's sneaking up on me.

Something is sneaking up on me that i've been completely oblivious to. It follows me and creeps around, shows its face only at the very beginning and end of each day. It actually may have a face, but i'm not sure i've seen it until now.
There may actually be an autumn season here in Augusta.
The sun isn't up at 7 am. That is weird. And i suppose it's not all that different from Savannah... but i've never had to wake up at 6am every day before. It sets early too... and it's getting colder out. And it's not even the equinox yet, but leaves are falling. I love this kind of weather... but due to the tropical-rainforest feeling of the coast, i'm not quite used to much of a seasonal shift, and sometime spring and fall get thrown into the mix and it all comes out as a mostly-summer year, with a few cold snaps here and there. This is entirely new... entirely different, and wonderful. I can wear longsleeves in September!
So here's to Autumn.
