Just sitting here waiting for class to start... thought i'd check my little map thing to see where my readers are coming from. And now i'm ready to travel again. Everywhere. Anywhere. Soon, soon i'll be back out in the great wild yonder. 3 months... and i'll be back in Europe. And speaking of Europe, i'd like to give a shout out to the chicks in Italy, Tori and Kaitlen (yes, somebody checked from what, Milan? i noticed...). I hope you guys are having a marvelous time.
I've been doing a lot of thinking about "calling" and "missions" lately (due to conversations spurred on by this guy)and i think i'll save the details of my thoughts on that for when i have more time, but i really do think that travelling is a big part of whatever i'm doing here on the earth. There's a reason why i do it, and i don't think of it so much of an end in itself but rather a means. Travel is only the journey (proverbially and literally) that is leading to something. That something probably being knowing everything... but really, travel is a big tool to learning more and understanding the world: seeing art, architecture, food, music, sights, smells, culture (and that's another really broad one for another time).
So i guess most of you knew i thought that way about travel... but i'm curious... are there other reasons out there? (answer i think is yes, but really, tell me...), or, on the other hand, what are some reasons people don't travel?
Okay, focusing on school now, really...
